Q. How long does it take to receive my saddle?
A. Once we have received your order and payment it will take
approximately 8 weeks to deliver your saddle. Feel free to contact
us ahead of time to see how our schedule is running. If you really
need it fast we can put the factory on overtime for an extra $250
(EXPEDITE MY SADDLE OPTION when ordering), and reduce the lead time
time to 4-6 weeks.
Q. Do you have a warranty?
A. Yes - Our warranty is two years and covers all parts and labor,
for damage occurring as the result of normal use.
Q. What sort of tree do you use?
A. Our trees are injected molded high density PVC. Unlike wood they
don’t wrap or split.
Q. What kind of leather do you use?
A. Our leather is made by Wickett & Craig – the finest US tanned
leather available.
Q. How much do the saddles weigh?
A. The upper weight includes stirrups!
Eurolights weigh 12 to 15 lbs.
Trailmaster weighs 16 to 17 lbs.
International weighs 17 to 18 lbs.
English weighs 18 to 20 lbs.
Westerns with horn weigh 19 to 25 lbs.
Q. What is your return policy?
A. If you are not fully satisfied with the purchase of a new
Specialized Saddle you can return it in new condition for a full
refund less our freight charges of $50. Your full purchase price
will be refunded within 30 days after receipt of saddle.
Q. Do you make custom saddles for draft horses and mules that may
not fall within standard tree fitting parameters?
A. We make custom trees for many types of horses and using an Equi-measure
mold of horse we can make a saddle that uses our adjustable fit
system AND fits your type of riding animal. Should you change mounts
you can still use your adjustable Specialized Saddle to fit to
perfection.
Q. How long has Specialized Saddles been in business?
A. The business started full time in 2000, and we have shipped over
1000 saddles. Our products are the saddle of choice for many top
Endurance riders in the US and around the world. Since then we have
widened our customer base to include multiple disciplines in
western, dressage, competitive trail, pleasure, trail, English,
pony, mule and smooth-gaited horses.
