Henry Miller Amish SaddleryDOUBLE CREEK SADDLES by Henry Miller (formally Eli Miller) Ultimately comfortable - you don't sit on the tree, you sit in a suspended seat which is like being in a hammock. This seat design results in less concussion to your body. Add a pair of EZ Ride Endurance stirrups and now that's comfort! Designed to sit behind the shoulder - great for short-backed horses! Short skirted (22 - 26"), all leather, lightweight (22 - 26lbs.), close contact, custom built saddles for both gaited and trotting horses and mules. Built on wood trees with many width options. Double Rigging is standard. Center Fire rigging is optional. Design your saddle to be English, western, endurance or a combination at no extra charge. Many decorative options such as tooling, overlay, stitching, diamonds, studs and more. Five colors of leather: black, brown, chestnut (reddish), chocolate and tan. Many stirrup options such as EZ Ride leather covered, nylon, caged and tapederos for the ultimate in comfort and safety. PLANTATION (Buena Vista), ENDURANCE, TRAIL, OLD TIMER DEMO SADDLES: We have from time to time a few demo saddles. We require $600 refundable authorized payment on a credit card or a cleared check ( refundable if returned in same condition - see below*), and $30 non-refundable rental fee. Customer pays shipping and insurance both directions. Sometimes a demo is available for purchase - call for details. RETURN POLICY: Returns only on STOCK SADDLES (no additional options) and are accepted within 7 days of receipt of the saddle if in "like new" condition (no scratches, dents, rubs, hair, dirt etc.) for a refund (not shipping) minus 20% restocking fee if conditions are met. Necessary deductions in the refund will be assessed at the discretion of the owners of Double Diamond Equine if the saddle is returned in "not new" condition in order to reach an appropriate resale value. NOTE: Custom options such as extra long or short fenders, tooling's, etc. are not returnable - call for details. REPAIRS: are done only on Miller saddles and tack and are charged a per-piece rate plus shipping. # 102 THE TRAIL SADDLE has a traditional low profile look with a level seat and low cantle and pommel. It has an abbreviated round short skirt. Built on a ralide tree. The gullet measures 6.5" wide and 13" at the flare. The seat is covered in closed cell foam padding and glove leather. Sizes 15", 16" and 17" seat. Weighs approximately 24 lbs. or less. This saddle is beautiful and affordable when decorated for show! Fits a wide range of horses. For decorative and design options page click here # 104 THE BUENA VISTA/PLANTATION saddle The Buena Vista or Plantation saddle is a piece of history, well known for it's incredible comfort built with the "suspended seat". Not a flex tree, flex panel, or treeless, but the supportive underside seat leather is hung like a hammock so you are not sitting on the tree. This translates to little to no concussion to your body. Add a pair of EZ Ride stirrups, and your back, neck, hip and ankle pains will diminish considerably! A large roomy seat, medium twist, and the stirrups hand just slightly forward. A very close contact saddle. Available in sizes 17 (15.5 - 16.5 +) and 19. Regular tree (6" gullet and 12" at the flare) and wide tree (7" gullet and 13" at the flare). Weighs about 24 lbs, and 27" long. Base price: $875 The Buena Vista can be built with western or English fenders, with or without a horn at no extra charge.  
The saddle above has the extra option of black overlay basket weave tooling and is built with English fenders and a horn with brass hardware. #104 BUENA VISTA "S" (photo below) is built with a "split skirt", meaning there is only one layer of leather for the skirt instead of a full round skirt as shown in the photos above and has an opening from the rear. Consequently it is lighter (23lbs) and shorter (22 inches). Can be built with or without a horn, English or western fenders at no extra cost. Click here for options page. This is the Buena Vista "S" with western fenders, EZ Ride stirrups, rear flank strap, edge tooling, smooth seat, no horn.  This Buena Vista "S" was ordered for a Peruvian Paso breeder designed with a suede stitched seat, basket weave tooling, western fenders and horn, extra ring attachments.  This beautiful one-of-a-kind Buena Vista "S" was designed for a competitive trail rider built with an abbreviated English fender, (20" drop), 1 5/8" wide stirrup leathers, EZ ride stirrups, no horn, and optional diamonds. Suspended seat, narrower twist for the rider, a substantial hand hold (instead of a horn) and secure deep pocket seat. Very little tree in front of the cantle helps to free up shoulder movement . Double or center fire rigging available. Sizes 17", 18" and 19" with all options except a horn. This saddle fits a lot of different body styles of horses!
