HOW DO I ORDER A CUSTOM DRIVING APRON or LAP ROBE?

You choose your two fabrics or provide your own.  I'll need your measurements (see order form). If working from mail, simply start by sending photos of your horse and carriage plus a photo of the outfit (s) you prefer to use. Add any information such as your preferences in color, solid, plaid, tweeds, summer or winter. From there we'll make a few fabric choices, I'll send you swatches to choose from...or meet me at a show! See our calendar on the home page!

WHAT STYLE IS THIS APRON?

My aprons are built according to your measurements with a THREE inch overlap for complete coverage from the back. There is no waistband but a 4" stabilized/reinforced top to elevate "roll over" at the waist. I use a 4" x 2" hook and loop (Velcro) over a matching fabric covered "tab" at the rib. The corners are square to allow for length alterations. A waistband design is optional . 
LAP ROBES measure approx. 4' x 5' bound. Please call for information.

You won't see your apron driving around....
I keep a constantly updated supply of POLY BLEND suiting's in tweeds, plaids, hounds tooth, and unusual patterned or nubby textured fabrics in addition to traditional solids and optional TECHINCAL COOL, BREATHABLE WATER REPELLANTS that look like fabric, not nylon or vinyl. I also have a supply of Malden Mills' TECHINCAL POLAR FLEECE for northern drivers as an 'under layer' and a few fun fabric choices for parades and costumes. My fabrics are unique and one-of-a-kind.  I also offer all cotton summer weight aprons. They are reversible in cool cotton or cotton blend fabric. Will require ironing of course.

MEASURING

Click on the Apron Order Form . Have someone help you measure while you are wearing what you typically wear while driving, including your shoes and jacket.
HIP: the widest measurement
RIB: at your last rib, not at your waist
LENGTH: from the rib measurement to the top of your shoes

DELIVERY

Once the decision for fabric is made, your apron will arrive in approximately three weeks especially during show season. Often I can make your apron in a few days depending on my schedule. Rush orders available within reason! I can also bring your apron to a show. I ship ground or US Post Office unless specified.

COST

Most standard reversible cloth to cloth aprons cost $90 
 XXL sizes and some plaids are a bit more.
Water repellants are an additional $25.00
Children's /youth sizes will be less
